on circuits above 230 volts shall be provided with means of rapidly
draining the stored charge. In addition to other safety requirements
specified herein, the induction heaters shall conform to the applicable
requirements of NFPA Standard No. 70. The heaters shall comply with the
standards promulgated under OSHA applicable to the heater itself. Addi-
tional safety and health requirements shall be as specified (see 6.2.1
and 6.4).
* 3.2.3 Protective devices. Unless otherwise specified (see 6.2.1),
protective devices specified in 3.2.3.1 through 3.2.3.3 shall be furnished
and installed on each MG set. In addition, where applicable, all protec-
tive devices shall terminate into a protective control point-or unit. The
control point or unit shall include provisions for determining that pro-
tective devices are operative, determining protective devices in operation,
and shall include manual reset devices such as switches or push buttons to
prevent automatic restarting.
3.2.3.1 Devices for all sizes of MG sets.

A strainer for inlet water to prevent entry of foreign matter into
the cooling water circuits. Locate in an accessible position.

Sight drains to provide evidence of cooling water being properly
provided to critical components.
